The ETB offers extensive training and coaching for top tennis players. Its main concern, however, is to provide opportunities for highly gifted U18 and U21 players to get extensive, high class professional training and coaching in preparation for a career as student athlete and/or a career as tennis professional.

In addition, the founders of the ETB want to promote and challenge young players in a way that they grow as individuals and succeed also in life beyond the tennis court. These objectives are supported through the cooperation of ETB with the Sport Science Institutions of the University of Salzburg (Department Head: Professor Dr. Erich Mueller, known for his research in tennis specific performance diagnostics and biomechanic analysis of movement).

Acting as a coordinator of the cooperation is the Sports Scientist Dr. Johannes Landinger.
